Laser Pointer Tracking

Can you really slice through cupboards with a laser sword? Not yet … but the madhat R&T (Research & Tinkering) unit did have a go at making a laser pointer tracking system recently.

A camera films the laser dots, which are tracked and analysed in real time by an engine developed in house. Particle streams are then generated and attached to the laser dots with a video projector. Sadly, you still have to make the krzzzzsh! krzzzzsh! noises yourself at this stage.
