For the Audi presentation at IAA 2009, Mutabor Design and madhat created an interactive exhibit about the ‘Car of the Future’.
A pseudo-holographic projection that can be viewed from two sides sits in a dynamically shaped shell made of Corian, the “marble of the 21st century”. Motion graphics and written information seem to hover in space around a real acrylic model of an Audi.
Audi later re-used this exhibit several times by having its content adapted for different scenarios. After a touch screen was added, the exhibit was shown at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, and the Audi museum mobile in Ingolstadt.
