IBM Free Float

Cloud Computing means adapting capacity, data storage and software to requirements dynamically, and providing them via a network. But how do you present that effectively to visitors and the media at CeBIT?

In just three months, madhat and CPP Studios assembled 60,000 individual components to develop the FreeFloat exhibit for IBM. A grand total of 512 luminous, vertically mobile LED spheres formed a totally new, constantly flowing visual language.

With over a hundred pictures in TV and the press and countless posts in social networks, FreeFloat was the central motif at CeBIT 2009.
