EXPO 2000: Planet Of Visions

The motto for the IBM pavilion at EXPO 2000 in Hanover was "Planet Of Visions". On a footprint of nearly 23,000 sqm, over 40 interactive exhibits told the story of human evolution as a story of ideas and visions.

The team from madhat and CPP Studios designed, built and managed the gigantic installation, including the website, video documentation and press relations. More than 120 computers coordinated vast amounts of data, including countless video streams and a 130-channel real-time audio feed.

After almost two years of preparation, the exhibit was a veritable magnet for visitors, and ran without a hitch all through the five-month EXPO.
